The CatCo Amalgamated Technologies Christmas Sampler (2020)

Are you new here? Are you scratching your head and curious about what "the big deal" is? Why not try our exclusive CatCo Amalgamated Technologies Christmas Sampler and find out? It's skinless, boneless, and chock full of fried chupacabras and guacamole, just like grandma used to make! And this year? A lot less wood pulp!

These holiday tunes have been hand picked by a hand picked team of 19 year old blond California girls with amazingly tight bodies who will call you daddy-daddy (or mommy-mommy if you'd rather), never ask what you are thinking or if their ass looks fat, and are working braless in a sweat shop in Beverly Hills. Truth be told, they are sweating and jiggling in their well worn tank tops right now, even though the air conditioner is blasting and it's way too cold in the room and their shirts are two sizes too small and, well... I think you know what I mean, if you know what I mean.

Plus, its got old radio ads, public service announcements, and other odd things. It's just like your real life but it's free!

So why not join the eight or nine people who have thought, "Hmmmmm... that could have been a lot worse." but didn't bother writing a comment about it?

Happy holidays from all of us here at CatCo Amalgamated Technologies. CatCo. If we didn't exist you would have just read something else.

Jazz Ass Christmas (2015)

All new and disproved! A brand new cover! It's A Jazz Ass Christmas! Try this bad ramma jamma while drinking, cussing, and fooling around. Maybe during eating or flirting with a police officer. Or sleeping. Sleeping is always good. No matter how you enjoy it keep in mind that it was collected and curated by a guy who doesn't know a whole lot about jazz but really likes most of it a bunch some of the time. And when you get right down to it what could be better than that? Jazz. It's not just for hop heads and reefer addicts anymore so get hip to the whosis and make like a Christmas tree and... I dunno. Stand around in a corner somewhere and blink a lot or whatever. Yeah. I know. But I'm in a hurry and nobody ever bothers reading these things anyway. Ho ho ho hum, gang.

Cool Ass Christmas (2016)

It's a little bit weird but nothing to worry about.

Side Dish (2020)

I'm trying something a bit off the beaten track here and dipping into the wonderful world of lounge music.  Kind of background, kind of ambient, kind of "normal".  Don't play it too loud and be sure to use a napkin, you slob.  There's ladies afoot.

Supermarket Coolness (2009)

One day, back in 2009, I was in my local supermarket with a hangover and couldn't help but notice how bad the music was. I wondered why pretty much every single time I went shopping I had to muscle through such painful attacks on my poor ears (even sans hangover). So I bought a box of Franzia Sunset Blush (a rather tasty breakfast wine, if I do say so myself) (friendly tip: try it with those little chocolate donuts!) and when I got home I started drinking again (to kill that pesky hangover) and threw this mix together. I then posted it on a podcast blog that I had at the time that eventually crashed and burned quite like The Titanic would have crashed and burned if it had ran into one of those off shore oil platforms (like where Blofeld hangs out in Diamonds Are Forever) while it was on fire.

Such is a life online, I guess.

Anyway, I found it buried on an old hard drive a couple of days ago and I figured I'd re-post it here just in case anybody was interested in checking out that type of thing.

Try it in the background while you're doing something else. Maybe in those earbuds that the hundredth monkey hasn't figured out are totally lame yet.

Which was on fire?

A) The Titanic

B) The oil platform

C) Both

No Host Radio - Movies (2020)

I've got another old one here.  And it's from another failed blog too. That blog was called "No Host Radio",  a series of mixes that were meant to sound like a radio station broadcast but without a DJ.  To be honest,  ALL of my personal music mixes are NHR mixes.  You know,  that whole tunes and ads and samples thing?  It's just that I don't use the theme tune every time anymore.  If you've ever wondered how this whole thing started,  now you know.  Yeah,  it was first made years and years and years ago but,  having re-used some of the tunes in other mixes,  I've given it a nice wash,  wax,  and lube and rotated the tires and stuff.  So grab a blanket and a pillow and hop in the back!  We're going to the drive-in,  kids!

Do It Yourself Beatnik Kit (2020)

Looks like I played things a little heavy on the loosey-goosey side with the parameters here, man. Got some solid beat era stuff mixed in with some more contemporary sides. If you want to judge me feel free to go nuts. I have no guilt about it. I'm cooler than that noise, daddy. Tons o' fun though and downright wiggy, If you pick up what I'm laying down. Dig it or don't, Jack. It's all the same to little ol' me.

Attack Of The New Wave Babes (2020)

Here's a bunch of new wave songs by women. I'm not sure what else to tell you. New Wave. Songs. Women. You know? To listen to? It's a real simple thing, man.
